This recipe is primarily for a side dish, but it can also be added to salads or included in meals like Chicken Orzo with Broccoli Rabe, or any dish that calls for a green vegetable. I’ve also made it breaded and flash-fried in a “Tempura” style. While this preparation method may go against the idea of a healthy side dish, it is incredibly delicious.
Ingredients:
- 1 Bunch Fresh Broccoli Rabe
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 4 cloves Fresh Thinly sliced Garlic
Instructions:
- Rinse Broccoli Rabe and remove leaves
- Cut into single stalks
- Heat up large saute pan, flat grill, or Blackstone
- Brush Grill with Olive oil, and place Garlic, and Brocolli Rabe on grill
- With Grill on Med/High turn Garlic and Veggies every 15-30 seconds
- Cook until Garlic slices are light brown chips, and Broccoli Rabe is charred slightly, but still crunchy
