We have over 4 generations of dishes and recipes created by my Bisnonna, Nonna, and me over almost 60 years.
There are unlimited variations of these recipes due to the lack of written records by my ancestors.

But don’t worry, after creating these dishes over and over, I have perfected them. Some of them may seem complex, but don’t be intimidated. They are fairly simple and don’t require any exotic ingredients. All the ingredients can be acquired at your local grocery store.

When I was a child, I indulged in the delectable dishes prepared by my Nonna and Bisnonna in their charming little kitchen. I often found myself marveling at the secret behind their incredible culinary creations. Living in our rowhome just outside Philadelphia were four generations, and every evening brought about a splendid feast that we eagerly anticipated. It was the highlight of our day, where all eight of us would come together, relish the food, and recount the best moments of the day. It was truly a spectacular event. Fast forward fifty years, and I continue to use their cherished recipes to entertain my friends, family, and esteemed guests. Now, I am thrilled to finally share these cherished recipes with all of you!

While my parents toiled in multiple jobs to support our family, it was my Nonna and Bisnonna who raised me. Their sole language was Italian, so I didn’t start learning English until I entered kindergarten. I spent my time watching and assisting them in making pasta from scratch, skinning rabbits, cleaning fish, and crafting delectable dishes in that compact kitchen.

Yes, there are some recipes on this page, and occasionally if I try something new I will use a recipe only as a guideline for what ingredients to use.
